Uncle Jon's employer makes mannequins (insert ridiculous jokes regarding Mannequin movie here - ha!) and he brought over this lovely goat a few months ago. Originally the plan was to have this in our booth at the Arvada Craft Fair. Until I saw how huge it is! It has been living in our garage since then and Casey brought him into the dining room the other day. Ian and Milo were lovin' it and I couldn't resist snapping a photo before Uncle Jon took it back home with him.
Love!
We took the big kids to the park on Sunday for a little outdoor fun. It's been chilly here, so we needed to get out while the weather was a bit warmer. The sun wasn't out, but it was still a nice day. Ian and Ella had so much fun and were psyched when they found this tree with a hole in it. They wanted to know who lived in there. How cute! Kate and I were just waiting for something to jump out of there. Not a peep, but in the end it was the freakish squirrel at the shelter that had us bolting for the car.
Milo is obsessed with my phone. He (accidentally) learned how to take photos with it and that took his intrigue to a whole new level. This is a photo he snapped himself (okay, with a little help from me but for the most part it was all him). He hasn't figured out yet that the flash is a beast and always blinds him, but I still think he looks pretty cute. We were all smiles - which was clearly before the Packers loss to the Giants:(
