Heather sent me this picture of Peyton and I just had to share it. So cute! Apparently, Milo and Ian wore her out. Sweet little P.
The lazy days of the holidays are here. We were picking up the living room the other night and Casey broke down the box their art easel came in. The boys quickly learned the simple joys of a box slide! Weeeeeeeee!
Grandma & Grandpa Schneider's Christmas package arrived on Wednesday. It was fun to have some more presents to open. Milo loves his camera!
Ian just had to put on his fireman shirt as soon as he opened it. Like his smile doesn't give his total excitment away?!
I can't believe 2012 is here. Wow! Ian had quiet time in the late afternoon and we told him he could stay up as late as he wanted. He hung out until 9 PM, but was starting to show signs of bedtime. He went down earlier than we thought, but couldn't resist peeking in his head in to check out all the debauchery that goes on while he is sleeping. He didn't hang around long, so I am thinking he wasn't too impressed. Ha!
Cheers to 2012! Good friends, good food, good times. We enjoyed a low-key night with the Courtney's, Maggie, and John. I gathered up some recipes I have been wanting to try and whipped up a menu. It was so yummy. PB&J wings, chips & queso, soft pretzels, fried pickles, cheese balls were just a few of the snacks (all prepared with love while visions of an IKEA kitchen were swirling in my head!). It got my gears greased and I am ready to throw a Super Bowl party!
Cheers (thanks Whipple for mixing it up a bit) to 2012! And here's to my first favorite photo of 2012...
precious, isn't it?
