Last Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. Note to self: opening weekend is the way to go. You beat the crowds and the craziness! We had a lot of fun just leisurely strolling through Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch.

This is the same place we went last year, but it was later in the season and there were so many people that it was hard to maneuver about. They have bouncy castles, a dragon roller coaster, petting zoo, merry-go-round, pony rides, a train you can ride through the pumpkin patch, etc. A great place to take the kids and let them burn off that extra energy! Ian was even more fun this year, but next year he will be a riot!

Saturday night we headed to Uncle Jon's for a block party! It was a lot of fun. They had bands and we dined outside so we could groove to the music. Ian's travel seat worked out great. He couldn't sit for long though - there was just too much to see and do!! Heather made a fabulous meal. We spent the rest of the night dancing, singing and as it got colder we warmed up by the fire.
