I'm with John on this one...

I wasn't born in Wisconsin, but I do love the Packers. When I moved to WI it was my goal to get to Lambeau Field as soon as possible. And I did. It was magical. Corny, I know. But it really is a different feeling - unlike any other NFL game I have been to. It is hard to understand unless you are there, but people take their Packers seriously. Very seriously. That is what makes this Monday Night Football game so special. So special, NPR had commentary on this subject this morning and I had to provide the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=113491876. Listen if you get the chance!

The fans are genuinely torn. I like Brett Favre, but now I am almost forced to not like him. He is charming, there is just something about him - he plays great football! I love the Packers and would love nothing more than for them to beat the Vikings. However, if the Vikings win tonight that will mean Brett Favre has beaten all 32 teams in the NFL. Another record for him and I have to admit, it would be pretty cool for him to have that title. So...while I might be rooting for the recordbreaking itself, I am still saying, "Go Pack!"
