Cuties

Alas, a low-key weekend!  Friday night we met up with the JHP crew at Rhythm on the River.  The "real" festival is on Saturday and it can be a lot of fun.  We decided to skip the big day this year, so we headed down Friday night to listen to some music.  We got hit with heavy rain, but it didn't last long.  We took refuge under a table umbrella until the dark clouds passed.  Casey took Ian to a play area in one of the tents and I stayed back with the little ones.  Okay by me:)
 Peyton and Milo

This smile gets me every time!

Saturday was a busy day for me - but all about me, so that made it better.  First stop was to Aveda to chop my mop!  I am feeling lighter already:)  Not to mention the added bonus of getting a few extra winks in the morning because I don't have to do much with my hair.  Woohoo!
Then I met up with my friend Lisa for shopping, lunch and a mani.  It truly was a blissful day of spoiling myself.  I needed it!  I was happy to get home to see my boys though.

Milo is on the move and there is no stopping this kid.  He desperately wants to be doing whatever it is that you are doing.  Ian is starting to get aggravated by his little brother and has little patience for having to share EVERYTHING.  I can't blame him really.  It must be hard.  Milo doesn't know what it is like to be the only one so he often gives Ian the stink eye, but I try to sneak in things just for Ian from time to time.

Milo really wanted to help me load the dishwasher.  I snapped a quick picture and it brought back fond memories of when Ian wanted to be my little helper too.  Aren't they the cutest?!
Ian spent most of his weekend "working" outside.  It is nice that he can play outside and I am SO thankful for the screen door because it allows more flexibility for everyone.  Milo cannot wait to get outside with his big brother, but for now he just has to watch eagerly from the window.  Milo has become rather chatty in the past couple of days and we are pretty sure he was yelling "Ian" yesterday.  It is so cute to watch them interact - Ian will stop by and talk to him through the window sometimes...or in this case, show off his Otter Pop in a subtle manner.

Ian's Jobsite (aka one-third of our backyard)

For those of you not following my business blog (you should be!), I wanted to let you know we now have an online store!  We are so excited to take this next step into small business ownership.  We are working hard to launch new products this fall and if you become a follower/subscriber you won't miss a beat.

Stop by and check it out - you just might find something you can't live without it!
