The City of Longmont includes a newsletter with your monthly bill and I love it. They always have snippets of information about community events that otherwise I might have no idea about!
Last night was the 5th Annual 31 Cent Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins. Yum! They had 2 fire trucks on display - one vintage that you could only look at and one new that you could get in and climb around in. I think it is very cool that our local firemen/women do events like this. What little kid doesn't love a fire truck?! They also had ID kits for kids, but the biggest attraction was a scoop of ice cream for 31 cents!
Captain Ian
Milo is hanging onto the fireman's every word!
Ian chose bubblegum ice cream - a favorite of mine from childhood too! Although he definitely wanted to get in on the pistachio and almond I chose. I didn't mind sharing:)
Milo really wanted ice cream too, but had to settle for a couple of bites from my waffle cone. He is not interested in baby food anymore. All he wants is table food. Which is cool, but not what I am used to. Ian ate baby food until he was 15 months old!
